Terms of Service

Botropolis is a fictional virtual city and digital property registry within the Botflix universe. Botropolis properties are virtual records in the application database. They are not real-world land, legal title to real estate, securities, or NFTs unless the service expressly introduces a different verified system in the future.

You are responsible for your Google account, connected wallet, devices, and all actions taken through them. You must provide accurate profile information, use Botropolis lawfully, and never attempt to impersonate another citizen, manipulate ownership, or interfere with the service.

You control your Solana wallet. Botropolis never holds your private key or recovery phrase and cannot recover wallet access or reverse a valid blockchain transaction.

Initial municipal property prices are displayed as USD target values and converted into an equivalent BOTC amount using the checkout quote. Citizen-to-citizen listings are priced directly in BOTC. Before approval, your wallet will show the proposed transaction. Initial municipal sales pay the quoted BOTC amount to the Botropolis treasury. Citizen-to-citizen sales include a 1% marketplace fee deducted from seller proceeds, with the remaining 99% sent to the seller. The published treasury is Botflix’s corporate crypto wallet and also conducts non-Botropolis Botflix transactions; it is not exclusive to real estate activity.

A property transfer is completed only after the backend independently verifies the confirmed Solana transaction. Network fees, price movement, quote movement, insufficient balance, wallet rejection, or network failure may prevent completion. BOTC and virtual property values can change and are not guaranteed.

Where enabled, original municipal properties can be purchased in USD through Stripe without a Solana wallet. The 30% BOTC offer shown at checkout applies to original municipal sales only, after nearby-demand adjustments. It replaces and does not stack with the prior 10% first-purchase credit; existing unexpired quotes retain their original terms. Citizen resale prices and the 1% resale fee are unchanged.

Where citizen card resale is enabled, sellers complete Stripe-hosted onboarding and choose their own USD asking price. Payments are charged directly through the seller’s connected Stripe account. The seller pays a 1% Botropolis fee, rounded to the nearest cent, plus Stripe processing fees, deducted from proceeds. Sellers manage refunds and disputes in their Stripe dashboard. Stripe receipts may display their business identity; Botropolis public ownership records use citizen numbers. Card resale does not receive the municipal BOTC discount.

Card title transfers require independent payment confirmation. If the property cannot transfer, the payment and Botropolis fee are refunded. For other refund requests contact the seller and Botropolis support with your order ID; applicable consumer rights are unaffected. Partial refunds and disputes may pause resale pending a logged title review. A payment reversal does not automatically seize a subsequent buyer’s property.

A confirmed municipal purchase can raise the USD target price of nearby, still-unowned municipal properties. The effect falls with map distance and never changes a citizen-owned property or a citizen resale asking price.

A citizen resale asking price can also create a temporary local signal for nearby, still-unowned municipal properties. For this calculation only, the asking price is capped at three times the property’s base municipal value. The local price effect is capped, declines with distance, and is removed or recalculated when the listing is withdrawn or changed. A listing does not establish an appraisal or guaranteed market value.

Botropolis may reserve landmarks, reject or remove unlawful or abusive names, descriptions, images, or plaques, correct demonstrable registry errors, and suspend activity that threatens the service or other citizens. Registry corrections are logged where appropriate.

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Botropolis and Botflix disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for losses caused by third-party wallets, Solana, token markets, network outages, unauthorized account access, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing on Botropolis is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

We may update these terms, features, pricing systems, or marketplace rules as the city evolves. Continued use after an updated version is posted means you accept the revised terms. We may restrict or terminate access for violations, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements.
